Homemade Baby Food Green Beans and Carrots

Making homemade baby food is so easy. All you do is steam, or boil whatever veggie you want to give your baby. The best starter vegetables are carrots, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash. Here is what I made for Baby Cruzer.

Just clean, peel, chop then steam or boil your vegetables. Steam or boil till tender. Be sure to reserve any cooking water that is left. Add your tender vegetables to a blender or food processor and puree. You can add more or less cooking water, formula or breast milk to reach your desired consistency.

Very soon I’ll start baby Sean on fruits. I’m looking forward to produce shopping for him. Stay tuned for more.
