Melissa and Doug have a brand-new family game and I’m so excited to share it with all of you. The Melissa and Doug SUSPEND game just won Best Toy Guide: Best Game of 2012. If you’re looking for a great game to play on family game night then I highly recommend you check out this review and watch the video. SUSPEND is a good quality family game and I hope you get the chance to check it out.

This game comes with 24 notched, rubber-tipped wire pieces that you’re suppose to suspend from a tabletop stand. The object of the game is to add all your wire pieces before it falls.

SUSPEND is a tricky game to test your nerves and your steady hands, intended for 1-4 players. The recommended age for this game is 8+ so my daughter really didn’t enjoy the game too much but my husband and I did. We plan to play this game more as a family once Jasmine is a little older. I was reading online that there are ideas for different play levels available from Melissa and Doug, I’ll have to check that out. My daughter is almost 5 and I found her getting frustrated. My husband and I didn’t make a big deal out of the fact that each time she added a wire piece the sculpture would collapse. Instead we tried to convince her that just adding a single wire piece was what she was suppose to do.
