Brother + Sister at the park, building memories and digging for gold.
Taking the kids to the park is so much fun. I noticed Baby Cruzer is the total opposite of his big sister when it comes to playing and being outgoing. Jasmine is the type of child that will run away when another child comes to join her on the playground equipment. Jasmine has slowly started to come out of her shyness, but it’s a slow process. Baby Cruzer on the other hand is the child that will walk up to a group of kids playing in the sand and sit right down, grab a shovel and start playing. I’ve also realized that he’s a wonderer, kind of like my brother was at that age. I’m going to need to keep a good eye on him.
While my family and friends in the north are snowed in and frozen we are down here in shorts, and flip-flops playing at the park. The only nice thing I’ve found about living in the south is the weather. Well, I take that back. There are only about 2 months total out of the year that I like the weather down here. Today was one of those fabulous weather days here in Louisiana, and we took total advantage of it. Since discovering that Baby Cruzer loves playing at the park I try to take them as much as possible.
I totally love that every time I try and snap a pic of just Jasmine her brother comes up to be near her, he loves her so much. I’m so happy Sean and I were able to make Jasmine a big sister.
Jasmine + Baby Cruzer are best buds!

I am so jealous at the warm weather you have right now. It was 4 below zero this morning in Vermont! It will be months before we have warm again!
My son would LOVE that shovel! Looks like they are having a great time
Jealous of your warmer weather.
I love how different my two are. Seeing their little personalities and wondering how they will grow into them is awesome. My son is our outgoing, play with anyone type of guy while my daughter is more reserved and “choosy” with who she plays with.
Looks like some beautiful memories! They grow up too fast! Cherish it!
I LOVE those pictures!!

My kids are complete opposites too. I got used to the cautious older child it throws you off to have an independent one.
Looks like a great day at the park!
Jealous! It’s fricken cold in Wisconsin! My daughter is outgoing and very sociable. I’m curious to see how baby brother will be.
My daughter is not outgoing at all either! It’s kind of frustrating to be since we have put her in 3K to help with her social anxiety and she just talked to the teacher for the first time the other day! She is an only child right now, but hopefully she will have a sibling someday!
