Since I’ve been spending more time in the kitchen and less time in the car buying take-out I’ve become an expert when it comes to kitchen scales. I never thought there would come a time in my life when I would need one, but the time is here. The EatSmart Precision ELITE Kitchen Scale is accurate and durable. It’s so pretty that it sits out on my countertop all the time. I think it’s too pretty to stuff into a drawer and hide in a cabinet.
The EatSmart Precision Elite was designed with me in mind. I’m sure of it! The platform is very durable, a breeze to clean and because the platform is large it can accommodate a large mixing bowl. The Precision Elite Kitchen Scale includes a large backlit LCD display, and a really convenient TARE feature, which I adore. The TARE feature allows me to subtract the weight of a container or weight more than one item in a row. There is a maximum weight capacity of 15 lbs. I can use this scale in four measurement modes; ounces, pounds, grams, and kilograms. I can try international recipes now.
Included with every Precision Elite is a free Calorie Factors Booklet, which educates consumers on calorie counting and proper portion control.
It’s amazing how a kitchen scale has reignited my love for baking and cooking. It’s so nice to have the equipment needed to properly measure how ingredients. I told my husband that if he wants yummy food to eat each night then I need things, like a zester, a juicer, some new baking dishes, a nice steel spoon, some wooden spoons, and more. I have a running list hung up in the pantry. That way when he’s out he can pick me up something I need. It has worked so far. I marked A New Kitchen Scale off the list.
By the way, if you were wondering about that pretty yellow cook book there in my photos it’s a book of Slow Cooker Freezer Recipes from Mama and Baby Love. I’ve been using it for a while now and it’s a great way to have healthy meals prepared a head of time for my family. I never had a need for a kitchen scale until I discovered this book and I had to split ingredients.

I could definitely use a kitchen scale. I follow Weight Watchers, and it is sometimes difficult to “eyeball” how much something weighs so I can keep track of my points.
