It’s day 13 of the 31 day blog challenge. Today the topic is Do You Have Regret? So do you? I do. I think so many of us have regret. I’m learning to do something about it, to be proactive and make changes to counteract my regret.
Having regret is a double edged sword. If things would have been different then I would have never had Jasmine, or Sean. But then again, I wouldn’t even know them.
I regret not finishing school before having children and starting my family. I did complete some college classes but never did enough to receive a degree. I’m heading back to school. I’m perusing a degree in Marketing.
I also really regret moving to Louisiana after getting married in February of 2006. I thought I wanted to get away from Virginia, well actually, at the time I did. But I had no idea how much I would miss Virginia after leaving. There are some aspects of Louisiana I enjoy, we live near Sean’s parents, the food is really good, and Louisianans will make up just about any excuse to throw a party. Plus, there are some really good, hard working people down here. I know I don’t want to grow old here, nor do I want to raise our kids here we are moving back.
We are moving back sometime this summer, in time for me to get registered for fall classes.
Plus, I want these two to play together more!
